 Electric Vehicle Testing DEWESOFT provides a comprehensive testing platform for electric and hybrid vehicles, featuring a mobile DAQ system and power analyzer that can operate on proving grounds, public roads, and in harsh environmental conditions. The solution supports full power and efficiency analysis from source to load, and also covers thermal integrity evaluation, structural durability, endurance, vehicle dynamics, drivability/ride feel, and ADAS/autonomous system testing.

For electric drivetrains, the power analysis module supports motors from 1-phase up to 12-phase and inverter topologies (DC-AC, AC-AC) with switching frequencies up to several hundred kHz. The modular DAQ enables perfectly synchronized AC/DC power measurement at multiple points, supporting analysis of single motors, motor-generator sets, in-wheel motors, and auxiliary loads such as HVAC or 12/24 V systems. With sampling rates up to 15 MS/s and wide bandwidth, even in-wheel motors can be measured accurately.

Efficiency analysis and loss mapping are consolidated in the Motor Analysis tab, supporting Clarke and Park transformations and multiple standalone math modules for deeper evaluation. Harmonic analysis complies with IEC 61000-4-7 up to the 3000th order, allowing sideband definition and grouping of high-frequency components from 200 Hz to 150 kHz. For hybrid vehicles, DEWESOFT enables synchronized internal combustion engine analysis and electrical power analysis on the same device, enabling full-vehicle testing with fully time-aligned data.
