Bridge structural health monitoring is a critical task that directly affects operational safety, structural assessment, and long-term service life.

For bridge vibration monitoring and civil structure applications, Dewesoft IOLITE® 3xMEMS is a suitable solution thanks to its low-frequency measurement capability, precise signal synchronization, and flexible field deployment.

Why Dewesoft IOLITE® 3xMEMS is suitable for bridge monitoring

  • Measurement from DC: MEMS technology enables capture of very slow oscillations and low-frequency structural vibrations.
  • Low noise performance: suitable for detecting small vibrations with high stability in structural monitoring applications.
  • Velocity and displacement calculation: when combined with DewesoftX, the system supports advanced post-processing for structural analysis.
  • High-accuracy synchronization: signal transmission via EtherCAT enables precise synchronization across multiple measurement points.
  • Distributed architecture: ideal for sensor points installed far apart on bridge structures while reducing cabling cost.
  • Integrated sensor and DAQ: helps reduce total system cost compared with conventional monitoring approaches.
