OMS Race is a compact and lightweight 2-axis optical sensor with integrated IMU, optimized for motorsport applications. It measures speed up to 450 km/h, distance, slip angle, pitch, roll, longitudinal and vertical acceleration (X/Z), and POI with accuracy better than <0.1°. The device utilizes the proven spatial filter principle combined with advanced signal processing, delivers a 1 kHz update rate, provides CAN / CAN-FD output, diagnostic data via CAN, and enables easy sensor or ECU replacement. High-lifetime IR LEDs ensure reliable operation and simple installation.
